Tim has been admitted to the Supreme Courts of Victoria and New South Wales, and holds an unrestricted practising certificate issued by the Law Society of NSW. He has previously held Victorian practising certificates, on an unrestricted and corporate basis.
Tim’s experience has been largely, though not entirely, gained at Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Melbourne and Sydney.
His experience includes several years of practice in dispute resolution, in the various court levels in Victoria, and in commercial lending and property work, both in Melbourne and Sydney.
Tim’s practice areas have also included acting in relation to infrastructure transactions, financial markets (particularly relating to equities markets and derivatives), manufacture and issue of financial products and SMSF borrowing products, and advising advice businesses and compliance units.
More recently, Tim has focused on more general types of commercial law, with a general theme of acting for financial service providers, and on dispute resolution and superannuation issues.
